The Pawling Library VolunTeens are bringing back a favorite program: Reading Buddies! This program is having a special launch during Spring Break and weekly dates will be announced. Students in grades K – 4 are invited to sign up for 20-minute time slots during which one of our teen volunteers will help them to practice their reading skills. The teens will read books to the pre-readers and will take turns reading with the emerging readers. Your child and their Reading Buddy can choose a library book together or your child can bring a favorite from home. Please give your child’s level of reading ability when you register.

Los VolunTeens de la biblioteca de Pawling están traer de vuelta un programa favorito:  Compañeros de lectura! Este programa tendrá un lanzamiento especial durante las vacaciones de primavera y se anunciarán fechas semanales. Se invita a los estudiantes de los grados K- 4 a inscribirse para recibir sesiones de 20 minutos durante los cuales uno de nuestros adolescentes voluntarios los ayudará a practicar sus habilidades de lectura. Los adolescentes leerán libros a los prelectores y se turnarán para leer con los lectores emergentes. Su hijo y su compañero de lectura pueden elegir juntos un libro de la biblioteca o su hijo puede traer su libro favorito de casa. Por favor indique el nivel de leer de su hijo cuando se registra.
