The Battle of the Books is a Mid-Hudson Library System-wide program for middle and high school students that celebrates books and reading, team work, and friendly-competition. Great Stories Club: Deeper Than Our Skins; Club de grandes historias: más profundo que nuestras pieles
Pawling Library Annex 15 Broad Street, Pawling, NYThis will be the final meeting of the Great Stories Club. During this meeting we will talk about the book American Street by Ibi Zoboi . We will end with a celebration of what we have accomplished. This book is available in both English. The Pawling Library is honored to have been selected as one of 58 libraries nationwide to take part in the Great Stories Club, a reading and discussion program for underserved teens. These competitive grants are offered by the American Library Association (ALA) with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). The Library has received two Great Stories Grants and is partnering with Camino al Éxito to bring teens age 13 & up a book discussion series in English & Spanish. Let’s Learn Circuits

Computer Help for Seniors

Please bring your device and/or library card and a volunteer will work one-on-one with you. Appointments are not necessary.The help sessions will take place in the Teen Space. Walk-ins are welcome. The group will meet twice a month to plan or work on service projects to benefit the Library and the Pawling community. Meeting dates: The first and third Wednesday of each month at 5 pm to 6:30 pm.
