Spring Children’s Programs Registration Open

No more April-fooling around! The full schedule of Spring Children’s programs for children ten and under is now available! We’re continuing to offer our popular activity kit programs, as well as digital events on Zoom and Facebook Live. Starting in May, we’re also introducing our first outdoor, socially distanced programs for children under five and their caregivers! Winter Children’s Programs Available

Registration is now open for our Winter 2021 children’s programs. The program session will run nine weeks, January 26th – March 26th. This session, we’ll be offering a variety of At-home kit activities and live digital programs on Zoom. Upcoming special events include a taste-safe sensory exploration kit for ages six months to five years and the return of our LEGO and Roblox Clubs. New Story Time Bites Available

Story Time Bites are short videos featuring one song, rhyme, or story, designed to help develop early literacy skills from home. These videos teach caregivers and children new rhymes to do offline at home, in the car, or at the playground. Plus kids love these digital visits from Ms. Neena! We’re sure you’ll love our two newest videos, “Put a Puppet on Your Head” and “Leaves on the Trees.”

Unicorn Time!

Kits available for pickup, Do on your own or join us on Zoom for a story hour and craft instructions Live event on Zoom: Tuesday, 10/6, 10:00 – 10:30 am – Ages 2-5 years Calling all unicorn lovers! During this special two-in-one event, Ms. Neena will read a unicorn book, teach unicorn songs, and show preschoolers and caregivers how to put together their own unicorn lacing kit, which is also provided. REVEAL: Color Change Ms. Neena’s Hair

Colorella the color fairy paid a visit to our library this last week, and made sure that the kids and teens who voted in our Imagine Your Story Summer Reading Program had their wishes come true. In exchange for reading time and learning challenges, participants got to choose what color Colorella the fairy would magically change Ms. Neena’s hair to! And after all the votes were in…a color was chosen! Was it pink, purple, or blue? Did you know that Donald Partelow, our adult program coordinator, also illustrates books and creates wonderful art? Well, this last week, as part of our Imagine Your Story Summer Reading Challenge, we let Pawling decide what Donald would draw for our Community.
