Join in for a stuffed animal themed story time and the creation of your own unique reading buddy to take home! Event includes a stuffed animal kit for all registered children. Family STEAM: LEGO Competition (Ages 4+ and a caregiver)

Saturday, 6/2, 10:30 am-12:00 pm -Ms. Neena, Annex Do you love to build? All are all invited to participate in our LEGO competition! Each participant will be given one hour to build with library LEGOs to the theme “Here’s the story,” either alone or as a team. Creations should be inspired by specific books, movies, or TV shows. Attendees will vote for their favorite creations across several age-related categories, including Preschool, Grades K-1, Grades 2-4, and Grades 5-Adult. Winners will be awarded LEGO Shop Gift Cards. Crazy 8s Math Club – Season 1 (Grades K-2)

Fridays, starting 4/20, 4:00-5:00 pm -Ms. Neena, Annex Back by popular demand, it’s the most fun you can ever have in the library! Join Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s Club, where you’ll build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess…it’s a whole new kind of math club! All activities are designed by the experts at Bedtime Math to boost and support developing math skills. This program runs eight weeks, starting April 20th. Don’t think your child would enjoy a math club, but want them to boost their skills? Can’t get your child interested, though you think it would be helpful for them to participate? Twoodalo Twos! (Story time for ages 2.5-3.5 and a caregiver)

Friday, 10:30-11:30 am -Ms. Neena, Main Library On Friday mornings, kids rule the library! Join Ms. Neena, while the library is still closed, for an uninhibited, fun and loud story time. This program incorporates sensory, art, storytelling, music, and movement all in one to prepare children to read, write, and think critically. Topics vary by week, and the program ends with activity stations. This program runs 8 weeks, starting April 20. DIY Crafting Collaboration (Grades K-2)

Every other Thursday (4/19, 5/3, 5/17, and 5/31) 4:00-5:00 pm -Ms. Neena, Annex We love to get to work with our hands here at PFL. It’s good for your heart and your brain! Our Do-It-Yourself Crafting Collaboration will teach children in grades K-2 to engineering incredible projects. Selected projects include no-sew monster pillows, upcycled t-shirt bags, and more.
