The skin is the largest organ of the body and it eliminates body waste through sweat. The lungs expel carbon dioxide from the blood, so respiration is a function of the excretory system. The kidneys, bladder, and urethra are part of the urinary system and in combination they rid the blood of excess nitrogen, urea, salts and water in the form of urine. Kaushik is the owner and chief medical practitioner of Dr. Kaushick’s Ayurvedic and Naturopathic Clinic in Cross River, NY. With over 35 years’ experience as an Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Kaushik’s medical training is extensive.
