Tuesday, October 16 7:00-8:30 pm The Pawling Library will host The Blue Olive for another special event exploring the many ways to use extra virgin olive oil and aged vinegar. Co-founder John Canevari will lead an interactive tasting seminar to guide the class through several unique palette-pleasing recipes. Guests will have the opportunity to taste each recipe and take notes on the preparation and cooking process used to create each dish. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, therefore it is important to quickly stop the blood loss by any means necessary. Participants will receive “hands on” training in the proper use of direct pressure, wound packing and tourniquets. Registration is required.
