Play Group (Ages 2-5 years and a caregiver)

Play Group Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 AM Nine week event series, 04/01 - 06/08 Age range: Ages 2-5 years and a caregiver NO CLASS 05/01 Kids are invited to play and build social connections with other children during this program, which sees our room set up with learning goals in mind. We'll use play to build skills like fine and gross motor and collaboration. Early literacy, math, and science concepts will also be integrated. Registration is highly suggested. Register in advance or day of. Join us for as many or as few classes as you are able, but please ONLY register for the dates you will attend. Due to the number of no-shows we have had at recent events, registration is now week by week. Drop ins will be accommodated whenever space is available, but advanced registration is preferred.

Computer Help for Seniors

        Members of the Pawling Library’s VounTeens group will be available to help senior citizens with computer-related questions and problems at this weekly session. Please bring your device and/or library card and a volunteer will work one-on-one with you. Appointments are not necessary.The help sessions will take place in the Teen Space. Walk-ins are welcome. Great Stories Club: Virtual Author Visit with Gene Luen Yang (The Shadow Hero)

Pawling Library Annex 15 Broad Street, Pawling

Participants in the Great Stories Club: Deeper Than Our Skins are invited to this virtual author visit with Gene Luen Yang who wrote the graphic novel, The Shadow Hero. This will be a Q & A between Yang and a representative from the American Library Association. It is a private event for those who participate in this grant-based program. We will watch the interview on the screen in the Library Annex. Registration is requested.
