Winter Celebrations

A program featuring winter celebrations observed by Indian, Jewish, and African American communities. The festivals of Diwali (India), Hanukkah (Judaism), and Kwanzaa (African American) each feature elements of light to illuminate elements of belief and understanding.
Join us to learn more about these unique observances through displays and food.
This program is partially funded by the Robert R. Chapman Grant of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley and the Stewarts Holiday Match.
NOTE: Winter Celebrations will take place at the Holmes Whaley Lake Civic Association. The HWLCA is located at 239 Route 292 in Holmes, NY.
