New Young Adult Programmer
Hello Pawling Community,
My name is Nicole Curcio and I am the new Young Adult Programmer at the Pawling Library. That means that I will be designing and running the teen programs at the library, as well as taking care of the young adult collection. If you have been in the library recently you may have seen that girl with the strange hair sitting at a desk behind the circulation counter. That’s me!
I already have some things in the works for the teens in our community such as a presentation given by Caitlin Galvin, a senior at Pawling High School. She is giving a presentation on the importance of self-esteem on Saturday May 10th at 1:00 pm. We are also ready for the Battle of the Books program that’s for students currently in grades 5-8. The books are in for the Battle of the Books, so if you know any teens that are interested, please pass the word along. They can sign up and pick up the books at the circulation desk at the library.
I am eager to meet the community, so if you go to the library please feel free to say hi. If you would like to see the teen programs, please visit the teen programming website (http://www.pawlinglibrary.org/teens/). I am so happy to be here and look forward to becoming a part of the community.
Sincerely, Nicole Curcio
