Weekly Poetry Workshop
Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 PM
Have a talent for verse or looking to learn? Join us in the Weekly Poetry Workshop program where we go over different styles of poetry and there composition. We will read famous poems, write our own, and share with each other in a constructive social environment.
Socrates’ Café (Open Program)
Thursdays 5:15-6:15 PM
What is knowledge? What are emotions? What is thought? Whoa…if you have the curiosity to ponder abstract questions and ideas and how they relate to your daily life this discussion group program is for you. Every week teens will pose questions, talk, listen, and learn about introductory philosophy.
Virtual Teen Space (Open Program)
Every Friday @ 4:30 PM
Join a group of your peers to discuss to actively common interests weekly. Post on the Library teens Discord thoughts and opinions passively on graphic novels, books, and podcasts. A virtual teen space for our teen patrons!
Snow Volunteers: Shovel Knights!
Schedule subject to weather and safety
Winter is upon us! Calling on volunteers to become local “Shovel Knights” to help out neighbors and the local citizenry with some snow removal assistance!
Daily Live Program:
Homework Hangout (Open Program)
Every Weekday except Tuesday @ 3-4 PM
Liven up your homework time and make it a time to look forward to! Discuss and collaborate on current homework or just hang out while working.
Scheduled Live Lessons:
Miniature Sculpture Painting
Set a schedule with Phil to have 1 on 1 painting lessons. Bring fantastic characters to life as you learn about everything from model prep and brush maintenance to painting on a 3D canvas using techniques like layering, low vs high shading, dry brushing, and highlighting.

Movie, TV, and theatre actor Amber Stonebraker is one of Hollywood’s rising stars. She will be sharing stories with our teens and answering questions about her craft, where she got her start, and her journey through the performance arts/entertainment industry.
Arctic Ecosystems Series: Indigenous Peoples Part 2
Back by popular demand for a second presentation on Indigenous Peoples. Moki Kokoris’ has been providing our young patrons with a wealth of experiential knowledge acquired in the Arctic Circle. This presentation will be a continuation of the one held previously on December 9th.
Gracie Osberg: Guidance and Health during quarantine

Guidance counselor, Gracie Osberg, will be joining us to discuss strategies for teens balancing mental wellness, school, and planning for the future during the COVID era. Gracie Osberg has been a guidance counselor for tweens and teens in the public education system for over a decade.
