The Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra proudly presents…

Symphony Storytime is an entertaining and educational family program featuring musicians from The Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra. This interactive, 50 minute program is designed for children in grades K-3 accompanied by an adult.

The program pairs the reading of an award-winning picture book with music inspired by the story and performed by the musicians. The music will include familiar tunes, classical riffs, witty musical improvisations and funny sound effects – moving the story along at a lively pace. Children will also participate in activities related to the book and presentations on instruments of the orchestra. Pre-registration is required.
