Keep track of your reading minutes to help your team achieve victory and earn our community summer reading prizes, an Ice Cream Party, and new 3D printer for the library.
The Unearth A Story Summer Reading Challenge starts June 20th. You can join us and log your family's reading time online here or with a paper tracking form.
Readers of all ages can show off their hard work by earning prizes. Every reader earns raffle tickets for our big prizes, like gift cards, LEGO kits, event tickets, and more. Kids also receive small prizes to keep them going through the summer.
Join a team in the battle for the Best Reader crown. This year, it’s the Team Teal Triceratops versus Team Red Stegasaurus versus Team Orange Hadrosaurus. Which team will read the most and be crowned top team during our end of summer party?
Use your summer break to help our library grow! Together, if we achieve our community reading goals, we'll earn our community prizes. If Pawling can read 40,000 minutes, we earn an ICE CREAM PARTY thanks to our friends at Creams and Crumbs Ice Cream Shop. At 80,000 minutes, we earn an 3D printer! The End of Summer Ice Cream Party will be Friday, August 21, 4:30 - 6:30 PM.
Participating in the summer reading challenge helps students of all ages to fend off the summer slide, the academic backtracking kids often experience due to summer vacation.
