NOTE: This in-person program will take place each Wednesday from 1-2 pm at Pawling Recreation.
Coloring is more than being creative, it’s a very relaxing activity that has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety.
Each week we’ll be coloring a new mandala design, while also enjoying a good round of conversation.
You don’t have to have a degree in art to participate…just some paper and color pencils.
Please join us. Relax and connect with like-minded people, and add a burst of color to your day!
All supplies will be provided.

The libraries of Dutchess and Putnam counties are joining together for a open mic talent night for tweens & teens. To be held at the Patterson Library, outdoors, weather-permitting. All talents are welcome: sing, dance, play music, gymnastics, magic, etc. Ages 6 through 12 years should arrive at 5 pm. Ages 13 through 21 years should arrive at 6 pm. At this presentation you’ll learn the health benefits of Chinese medicine. Please join us and discover how you can naturally improve the quality of your life.
About our presenter: Julie Johns is a licensed Acupuncturist. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned a MS degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a BS degree in Health Sciences in a three-year program at Mercy College which focused on acupuncture, theory of oriental medicine, Chinese herbology, health sciences, and clinical experience. Her first career was as a research assistant in two basic research laboratories, one at Stanford Medical School and the other at Weill Cornell Medical College. These experiences along with the BA degree in Biology she received from the University of California, Santa Cruz gave her a good grounding in science and the theories of allopathic (western) medicine. Julie Johns has her own practice which is located in the village of Pawling, NY.
