Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead: Join us to celebrate and learn!
This Friday, October 27th, from 6:30-7:30 pm, families with children in grades Kindergarten-4th grade are invited to join us for our Dia de los Muertos celebration. Dia de los Muertos is an important holiday celebrated by many cultures and many Americans. This event is sure to be enjoyable for those who celebrate and for those who want to learn more. Our program will teach families about the origins and importance of the holiday and provide each attendee with a skull craft–either a skull bank or a skull ornament to take home! Come win a sweet treat and/or a book to take home, visit the altar Mr. Daniel has created, and much more!
If interested in attending, email children@pawlinglibrary.org or call the library at 845-855-3444 and ask to be registered. Drop ins are allowed but registration is preferred.
