Teddy and Toy Hospital

Friday, May 15
4:30 PM - 6:30 PM, stay the whole time or drop in as you are able
All ages and a caregiver, best for ages: 2 - 8 years old

Whether you want to play pretend or have a stuffed animal in need of some minor repairs, this is the event for you! Kids bring a stuffed animal or toy from home who needs to visit the doctor and visit a variety of play-based stations to help keep their friends healthy and happy. Visit the toy doctor for a check-up, help our "hospital staff" volunteers wrap up broken bones, and read x-rays!

Plus, at the Teddy and Toy hospital, volunteers with sewing expertise will be on hand to repair soft toys and fabric accessories (like a hole in a favorite teddy's arm or a doll's ripped dress). Minor repairs may be finished while you play, though stuffies in need of more TLC will be checked into the toy hospital for an extended stay. Can't stay and play, but have a stuffy in need of some repair? Contact Children's Program Coordinator Neena McBaer at  children@pawlinglibrary.org or (845) 855-3444.

Preregistration required.
