Weekly classes are listed first, followed by one-time events.
Baby Bounce and Groove
Tuesdays 10:00-10:45 AM
Winter session: January 12 - March 13
Age range: Birth - 18 mo. and a caregiver
Early literacy is an important part of a baby’s healthy development. We read, sing, babble, and bounce together. Learn resources to use at home and meet other caregivers. Ends with social play.
Registration highly preferred! Register on our calendar for each date you plan to attend or drop in. Drop-ins welcome as long as space is available.
Toddlers in Training
Thursdays 10:00-10:45 AM
Winter session: January 12 - March 13
Age range: 18-30 months & a caregiver
Interactive story time featuring puppets, instruments, and elements of music & movement. Program ends with play, which may be outside when weather allows.
Register on our calendar for each class you plan to attend or drop-in. Drop-ins will be accommodated only as space is available.
Toddlers and Twos Together
Tuesdays, 11:00-11:45 AM
Winter session: January 12 - March 13
Age range: 18 months - 3 years & a caregiver
This class welcomes children from both our "Toddlers in Training" and "Twodaloo Twos" classes in one combined, fun mixed age group. Stories, songs, rhymes, and instruments with a focus on expanding vocabulary. Program ends with play.
Register on our calendar for each class you plan to attend or drop-in. Drop-ins will be accommodated only as space is available.
Twodaloos (Formerly Twodaloo Twos)
Winter Session: January 12 - March 13 Ages: 2.5 - 4 years old and a caregiverOur weekly program specifically for twos, threes, and fours. This program includes stories, rhymes, songs, and activities designed to get kids learning through play. Literacy, fine and gross motor, and early science concepts integrated into what we do every week. Siblings welcome.
Fun with Letters
Wednesdays, 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM
Nine weeks, January 12 - March 13
Ages: 3 - 6 years old and a caregiver
Caregivers welcome, though not required. Caregivers must stay on library property, but do not have to stay in the programming room, unless children need their support.
It's playtime! Each week, we'll work on learning our letters, their sounds, and other early reading and writing skills all through play, art, and stories.
Registration preferred but not required.
Saturday Stories and Songs
Held Monthly on Third Saturdays
January 17, February 21, & March 21
10:30 AM - 11:15 AM
Ages: birth - 5 years and a caregiver, siblings welcome.
This mixed age storytime invites families to gather together to practice the 5 keys of early literacy. We'll sing, talk, read, play, and write. Stories, instruments, and songs will be followed by playtime or bubbles.
Registration is preferred but drop-ins are welcome as space is available.
Letters from Dog Man and Bluey
No registration necessary, just drop off your letter with your name and a return mailing address at the library to join in.
Hey families! Write a letter to favorite characters Bluey or Dog Man and get a letter back in the mail! Bring your letter (no postage necessary) to the mailboxes at the library on or before February 28 to join in.
Penguin Pandemonium
Take your Child to the Library Day!

Featuring Penguin storytimes at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM
We're celebrating Take your Child to the Library Day with penguin themed activities and bubbles, bubbles, everywhere! Stop by our open house to enjoy snacks, games, crafts, and stories anytime throughout the day. Plus, if you borrow or read a book while visiting, you can enter the Reader's Raffle for our awesome penguin themed raffle prize for free.
Plus, we're hosting a Make-Your-Own Mr. Penguin Stuffy workshop on this day. If you love penguins or stuffies, now's your chance to make your own! Registration for the stuffy making workshop is separate.
Make-Your-Own Stuffy Penguin Workshop
Saturday, February 7
11:30 AM - 12:15 PM
All ages and a caregiver, children under 5 will need assistance.
Penguin storytime for all ages at 11:00 AM, followed by stuffy making at 11:30 AM.
We're celebrating Take your Child to the Library Day with penguin themed activities, including a stuffy making class. These penguin stuffed animals look just like fan-favorite Mr. Penguin from Miss Neena's storytime programs and are sure to be as big of a hit at home as they are in the library.
During the program., kids and caregivers will help a penguin stuffy get ready to join their family, adding polyfil and love. Wish on a magic wish star and make a beautiful necklace for your new friend. Plus, if you stop by at 11:00, you'll also hear a penguin story read aloud.
This event is part of our Take Your Child to the Library Day celebration and other family-friendly activities will be going on in the library from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Registration for this Make-Your-Own stuffy event is limited and separate from registration from the general Take Your Child to the Library Day event. Please register each child participating separately, so we make sure we have enough supplies for each child.
