Writers Workshop Part 2: 10 Common Mistakes and How To Avoid Them

Presented by author/editor Marian Grudko

Tuesday, September 24
7:00-8:00 pm

What is the best way to deal with mistakes?

Don’t make them in the first place!

In Writers Workshop Part 2, Marian will present concrete examples of some of the worst writing mistakes, followed by clear directions on how not to have them spoil your own writing.

You will learn to avoid the sometimes not-so-obvious problems that cause an editor to toss a submission even before getting to the “good part”!

Examples will range from narrative pacing and dialogue to specific issues of grammar, word usage and punctuation.

Give your otherwise excellent efforts a chance to shine: Edit yourself!
