Weekly Programs: 

 

Minecraft Monday

Mondays, 5:30-6:30 PM

Not meeting on  1/21 or 2/25

Play competitive or collaborative games in either creative or survival mode.

 

Minecraft Monday: World Builders

Mondays, 6:30-7:30 PM

Not meeting on  1/21 or 2/25

Play in the same creative world each week to design and build the ultimate civilization.

 

Minecraft Code Connection

Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 PM

Not meeting on 2/19

Each week we will attempt a different coding challenge using Minecraft Code Connection. No prior experience with Code Connection is necessary.

 

Tuesday Tranquility

Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 PM

Drop in for as long as you’d like to do relaxing activities like coloring, origami, or making friendship bracelets quietly in the back of the library. No registration is required for this program – Seating is available on a first come, first served basis each week

 

Film-Making Club

Wednesdays, 4:00-5:00 PM

Teens in film making club write, direct, and act together in a short film. Once filming is finished, teens will help edit the film and post it on YouTube.  A signature on the registration form is required for everyone in this program.

 

Roblox Club

Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 PM

Play Roblox in a group setting on the library laptops. Join games with your friends and play together!

 

DIY Club

Fridays, 4:00-5:00 PM

Not meeting on 1/25

Each week we will complete a different creative Do It Yourself art project.  You will be walked through each project step by step. Projects will include paintings, galaxies in a bottle, and tie dyed bandannas. This club is perfect for serious crafters and those looking to brush up on their crafting skills.

 

Project Do Something

Every other Friday, 6:30-8:30 PM

2/1, 2/15, 3/1, 3/15

Project Do Something is a community service organization that meets on Friday nights to work on small but impact-full projects to better our community. Earn community service hours while having fun with your friends. No registration is necessary for this program – just show up ready to work!

Interactive Movie: The Goonies

Saturday, January 19, 2:00-4:00 PM

Come watch the classic movie The Goonies while acting along with the movie using your interactive participation script. Yell, stomp your feet, use props, and more in time with events in the movie.

 

Chocolate and Card Making Workshop

Saturday, February 2, 2:00-3:30 PM

Make your own chocolate candies and make funny Valentine’s Day cards to give to your friends.

 

3D Printing Workshop

Saturday, February 16, 5:00-6:00 PM

Learn how to create 3D objects using TinkerCad. These models will  be printed and available to be picked up at the library within two weeks.

 

Slime Workshop

Saturday, March 2, 2:00-3:00 PM

Come make and play with slime! Add paint, glitter, and more to your recipe.

 

Escape the Room Game

Saturday, March 16, 6:00-8:00 PM

Come play an escape the room game in the library. Are you smart enough to escape before time is up?
