Reindeer/Moose Stuffed Friend Creation

Friday, Dec. 8, 5:30 – 6:30 PM Age range: 3-8 years and a caregiver We moose be dreaming! Kids and caregivers are invited to a build-your-own stuffed animal program, featuring a reindeer or moose stuffy. We’ll read a winter story, add stuffing and a wish to our stuffed animal pals, and even make them their own personalized name necklaces. Registration is required. Meet the Author and the Illustrator

Holmes resident and local author Jennifer Lohrfink Morfea and illustrator Erik Draw stop by the library to read their book, The Little Hyena. The event includes a Q&A, and Erik will demonstrate his illustration techniques live. Attendees will have the chance to win signed copies of their books and participate in a fun animal art project, led by the author. Children K-4 and their families are welcome to attend. Caregivers invited, but not required. Join us and support your local community–Saturday, January 27th, 4:30-5:30 pm. Registration not required but preferred. Winter 2018 Children’s Programs Registration

With a new year comes a new selection of children’s programs. Registration for Winter 2018 children’s programs is now open! Register with our lottery from January 5-January 10. If you miss this window, don’t worry! You can still sign up for programs as space is available. To enter the lottery for program placement, download and fill out our registration form here or stop by the library to pick up a copy in person. This form can be returned to the library by fax, email (at children@pawlinglibrary.org), or in person at the circulation desk. Registration forms in Spanish are available at the front desk. To find out more details about the programs available between now and March, see our Winter 2018 Programs Guide.  Program placements will be made available on or before January 15th. Programs run nine weeks, from January 16th-March 16th. Late registrations will be accepted as space is available, and can be completed in-person, by calling the front desk at 845-855-3444, or by emailing children@pawlinglibrary.org.
