Summer Reading Update: Almost at Community Goal!

The Tails and Tales Summer Reading Challenge is well underway. In fact, we have almost met our community goal!

With a group total of 19,708 minutes, we need just a little more help to earn our new kid’s area play set.

Here are the team standings:

Image is of three cats looking at a fishbowl. The colors on their tails show how much progress each team has made logging reading time. From left to right the cats are adults, kids, and teens.

First Place: Kids (12, 214 minutes)

Second Place: Adults (6,975 minutes)

Third Place: Teens (519 minutes)

Great things happen when we work together! When we hit 20,000, we will earn our community prize, plus new raffle prizes will be added to the pot for you to win, like gift cards to McKinney and Doyle. The more you read, the more you earn, including free books to keep! Plus, the winning team will earn bragging rights and the Summer Reading Champions Crown.

Thank you to all the patrons who are logging their time to help us work towards our goal. Keep up the great work!
