Twoodalo Twos! (2.5-3.5 years and a caregiver)

Ages: 2.5 – 3.5 years and a caregiver Fridays, 10:00-11:00 AM – MIXED LOCATION REGISTER HERE. On Friday mornings, toddlers rule the library! This program includes songs, stories, and games plus a play-based learning activity, like art or parachute play. This program will be held outside in our courtyard as weather allows but move indoors if needed due to weather or other concerns. Registration required. Join for as many or as few classes as you are comfortable and able. But please ONLY register for dates you plan to attend, as spaces are limited. Unvaccinated patrons over the age of two years old MUST wear a mask while attending in-person library events. This means children ages 3- 12 must be masked at events, even outdoors. We highly suggest but do not require vaccinated patrons mask up at indoor events. Toddlers in Training Ages: 18 – 30 months and a caregiver Thursdays, 10:00 – 10:45 am –MIXED LOCATION REGISTER HERE. Interactive storytime featuring puppets, instruments, and elements of music & movement. Program ends with playtime. This program will be held outside in our courtyard as weather allows but move indoors if conditions are poor. Registration required. Join us when you are able and comfortable, whether that’s for one week or all the classes. But please ONLY register for dates you plan to attend, as spaces are limited. Farm Sticker Play Kit Age range: 1.5 – 5 years and caregiver Available for pickup mid-August – staff will email you when the kit is ready for pick up, at which point you can pick up anytime we are open. We love stickers! They help kids master their fine motor skills and expand their vocabulary without any fuss. Create a farm scene and do some math learning with this kit. Differentiated based on age. This class is for children ages 2.5 – 3.5 years old and their caregivers. Thursdays, 3:30 – 4:00 pm  Starts the week of 5/4 – Ms. Neena Our in-person, socially distanced classes will be held in the library courtyard, when the weather is good enough to meet. Toddlers benefit from reading, music, and playing together, even while social distancing. Pawling and Holmes residents can register here. Residents are given priority registration for these small group programs. Non-residents can join our non-resident waiting list here. If space is available, non-residents will be welcomed in to the classes. ——- Important facts about in-person events:  All participants older than two years old must wear a mask during in-person library events. While we recognize that it is difficult for young children to wear masks and distance from one another, families will be expected to maintain social distancing as much as possible by sitting in designated areas. Active games/bubbles will replace craft activities for these programs. These events are subject to be rescheduled or canceled if public health considerations become...

Our kindergarten readiness program that focuses on letters, rhymes, numbers, and learning through movement. Pawling and Holmes residents can register here. Residents are given priority registration for these small group programs. Non-residents can join our non-resident waiting list here. Free Supply Kits Provided; Program runs eight weeks, 4/12 – 6/4 These at-home activity kits (and instructions) are designed to build early skills and promote continued literacy learning. We’ll give you everything you need for an easy to do weekly activity, pre-prepped and ready to use, just like those we include in our in person programs. The activity will line up with the week’s Twodaloo Toddlers program’s books and songs. Registration is required to sign up for materials. Visit this link to register. Fridays 10:00 – 10:30 am – Ms. Neena, This program is designed for ages 1.5-3.5. Program runs eight weeks, 4/12 – 6/4. Attend as many or as few sessions as you can. This program is held live on Zoom. Join us as we sing, read, and play together. Each week’s story and songs will connect to the learning activity in Twodaloo Activities take home kits. We suggest setting up in a space where children can move around, though this is not required. Caregivers are required to remain in the same room as any child under 5 years old. Supply kits available for pickup. Program runs 8 weeks, 4/12 – 6/4 Our activity kits guarantee at home learning experiences that focus on Kindergarten Readiness. We’ll include everything you’ll need for a weekly pre-prepped art project, game, or experiment. Each week’s learning activity will connect to the stories and songs in our live Read and Play Zoom story hour. Kit pickup is weekly, Tuesday-Sunday.
