Harden liquids like magic and show off your creations to other kids. Supplies and instructions will be provided, though caregiver supervision is recommended, especially for developing readers. Take home activity kit for ages 1.5 – 5 years and a caregiver Available mid-October Measure, count, and sort with this kit, which uses monsters to encourage math learning. Kits for ages 3-5 will include M&Ms or Skittles for use in the activity. No candy will be used for activities for children under 3. Registration required. Register here. Huge Hungry Hippos! S.T.E.A.M. STEAM Kits: Oil Spill Cleanup Age Range: Grades K-4 and a caregiver Date: Kits available for pickup the week of April 22. Our staff will notify you by email when kits are ready for pickup. This Earth Day, we’re challenging families to use engineering to help the planet. This activity kit includes educational information on water pollution, as well as a hands on experiment. Can your family creatively and quickly clear the water after a dangerous oil spill? Play & learn offline as a family or use our video tutorials for guided learning. Kits are designed so you can use them at home on your schedule. Developing readers may need support to complete the program. Click here to register. The story takes the title character (and readers!) through a community health center, where Marcus meets many different healthcare professionals, and learns about how they help his community.
