Due to the Hurricane, the 8/8 class of Sing-Along with Miss Tara has been cancelled. It will not be rescheduled. The class will resume next week, 8/17   Saturday, 8/8, 10:30-11:00 am – Miss Tara & Ms. Neena This program runs six weeks, July 6-August 17. Attend as many or as few classes as you are able. This program is held live over Zoom with music educator, Miss Tara. Enhance your child’s love of music while igniting all areas of child development in this half-hour music class. Supply kits provided –Ms. Carla & Ms. Neena Program designed for ages 5-11, caregivers and family members welcome and encouraged! Friday, 8/7, 5:30-6:15 pm Everyone’s an artist! In this live virtual paint night over Zoom, we’ll guide you through an easy under sea picture, or you can use the supplies we provide to make your own unique creation. Not able to pick up supplies? Sensory Exploration: Taste Safe Mud (1.5-5 years)

Supply kits and paper instructions available for pickup. Tuesday, 7/28 10:30-11:00 am –Ms. Neena This program is held live over Zoom; families are also welcome to pick up kits and play offline without participating in the Zoom. Sensory play is an important part of childhood development. Join us as we make taste safe mud (cocoa powder and water) for provided farm animal friends. Caregivers are required to remain in the same room as any child under 5 years old while on Zoom. Registration is required to sign up for materials and tutorials and access to secure Zoom. Butterfly Bonanza (Ages 3 and up)

Supply kits available for pickup Tuesday, 7/16, 3:00-3:45 pm Butterflies everywhere! In this program, we will listen to a butterfly story, decorate our own butterfly puppets, and learn to dance like a butterfly with special guest Cynthia Quintanal. This program will be virtual and materials will be provided for those who register. Children under 6 may need adult assistance with the craft. Heist Night: Revenge! (Grades 1-4)

Friday, 1/31, 5:30-6:30 pm Rumors of another plot to make off with library valuables have surfaced! The Pawling Library is putting out a call to all junior sleuths in the area to help thwart this band of thieves! Join us for a library wide game that pits thieves against sleuths in a combination of simple game themes such as red light, green light and battleship to see which team wins. Meet a Veterinarian (all ages and a caregiver)

Wednesday, 1/15, 1:00-2:00 pm Dr. Kanouse, a local veterinarian from Brook Farm Veterinary Center, will stop in with his therapy dog, Nettles. Dr. Kanouse will read a story, answer questions about animal care and his job, and give children the opportunity to interact with his four legged friend and some of his tools.
