(2-5 years and a caregiver) Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11:30 AM – Ms. Neena Teachers say that the skills that lead to the most student success in school are their social and emotional skills. Join us to help develop these skills, as well as STEM, art, and literacy practice, all while children play! This supervised hour of fun provides a large space for children to meet and play with our outdoor play equipment, weather permitting. Please dress children for the weather and bring water. This program is designed to ease the transition to daycare, preschool, and especially kindergarten and is paid for in part by Dutchess County. Registration required. Ages: 3-5 years and a caregiver Tuesdays, 3:00 – 4:00 PM – Miss Neena Our Kindergarten readiness class uses a play-based curriculum to encourage learning connections. Our small group will focus on early literacy and math skills through a combination of hands-on activities and group story time. This is an six week series. The program or portions thereof may be held outside in our courtyard to utilize our outdoor play equipment as weather allows but fully move indoors if conditions are poor. The library will host a visit from a local preschool on Monday, 5/23, from 9:30 -11:00 AM. If the weather is bad on 5/23, we will host the program on 5/25 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM instead. This time block will only be utilized if the 5/23 block is not; rain date only. Ages: 3.5-5 years and a caregiver Tuesdays, 3:00 – 4:00 PM – Miss Neena REGISTER HERE. Our Kindergarten readiness class uses a play-based curriculum to encourage learning connections. Our small group will focus on early literacy and math skills through a combination of hands-on activities and group story time. This is an eight week series. The program or portions thereof may be held outside in our courtyard to utilize our outdoor play equipment as weather allows but fully move indoors if conditions are poor. Caregivers required to remain on site for the program. Registration required. Paid for in part by Dutchess County.

Outdoor Play Group will not meet on Thursday, March 24th due to the weather. All other sessions to continue as scheduled. Thursdays, 3:00 – 3:30 PM, (Ages 1.5 – 3 and caregiver) Socialize and move with us as children and caregivers play simple games in our courtyard like tag, alphabet build, and ball rescue. Families are welcome to warm up indoors at any time. This program is weather permitting and requires all participants to wear cold weather clothing and shoes, as it will be held outside. Fall Family Painting (Ages 1.5 – 5 and caregiver)

Fall Family Painting (Ages 1.5 – 5 and caregiver)

Take home activity kit for ages 1.5 – 5 years and a caregiver Available mid-November Spend time together as you create fall themed paintings with non-toxic tempera paint. Use provided stencils to make shapes appear after the paint has dried. This is a messy activity. Registration is required. Register here. Our staff will email you when the kit is ready for pickup. Then you can pick up anytime we are open & on your schedule.
