Valentine’s Taste Safe Sensory Kit (Ages 0.5 – 5 years and a caregiver)

Kits available for pickup week of Feb. 14. Families will be notified when pickups are ready.  It’s important to engage babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in sensory exploration. Kit includes supplies for a sensory bin that kids can safely explore, plus learning extensions for different developmental stages. Kits are made primarily from ground Cheerios and free of most allergens and use Kosher ingredients. Register here. Kit pickup protocol varies, depending on COVID-19 infection rates in our region. Families may register for one. On Friday mornings, kids rule the library! Join Ms. Neena, while the library is still closed, for an uninhibited, fun and loud story time. This program incorporates sensory, art, storytelling, music, and movement all in one to prepare children to read, write, and think critically. Join Ms. Neena for a story, singing, and rhyming sure to get baby giggling. All activities are designed to enhance attention and focus, familiarize children with the fundamentals of reading and talking, and instill a love of reading. The program ends with a 10-15 minute social play session or baby-safe art activity. Registration for winter programs starts January 8.
