Vote: President of the Library Books!

View Calendar
Oct/Mon/2020 - Nov/Mon/2020 All day

Time to show up for your favorite characters! Did you know that for the last two months, youth in our community have put together nominations for the next President of the Library Books?  Well, now it's time to vote for the winners!

Help us pick which characters you think would make the best leader! Visit https://www.pawlingfreelibrary.org/election/ to vote, from October 26 - November 3. One winner will be chosen for the Children's division (Ages 5-10) and one for the Teen division (Ages 11-18). Winners will be announced November 3.

The president of the library is a leader, chosen by popular vote, who is in charge of all of the other book characters in the library. To win the President of the Library election, a character must be nominated by a teen or child. Each participant has written a platform for their selected character that describes the characters beliefs and what they would do as president. Anyone is eligible to vote.
