The dreaded blinking cursor. The pressure of a looming deadline and 650-word counts left empty....the college essay! This piece of writing is often the first big struggle High School Seniors face. The students themselves may receive a lot of resources and guidance on how and what to write, but this workshop speaks to the parents, guardians and support systems for juniors in High School. This event will seek to give families strategies to help their high schoolers with brainstorming and generating ideas for the college essay. This event will also give adults an opportunity to practice some of these strategies so that they can better understand the process their own children will go through when writing the all-important college essay.
