Our annual gingerbread house take-home kit with Sunflour Bakery is the perfect at-home activity for the whole family. Register for
the lottery for a chance to receive a kit for your family.

Click here to register for the lottery for a chance at a spot in this program. The lottery is open from November 10-November 30. All lottery registrants will be notified about whether they secured a spot in the program and a kit or were placed on the program waiting list on December 1, 2022. If you are unable to pick up a kit during library hours between December 8-11, please do not sign up for this lottery program.

Allergen information: The frosting, cookies, and candy may contain gluten, eggs, and dairy. The kits are nut free, but some candy may be made in a nut environment.

Lottery details: The lottery is open from November 10-November 30. All lottery registrants will be notified about whether they secured a spot in the program and a kit or were placed on the program waiting list on December 1, 2022. Those who are enrolled by the lottery will be asked to pick up a take-home kit from the library between December 8-11. Families placed on the wait list will be notified of their wait list placement and if a kit becomes available for pick up. If you are unable to pick up a kit during library hours between December 8-11, please do not sign up for this lottery program. Families participating in our in-person gingerbread house events are not eligible for the lottery. Due to program popularity, only one lottery entry/gingerbread house kit per family.

    Our Kindergarten readiness class uses a play-based curriculum to encourage learning connections. Our small group will focus on early literacy and math skills through a combination of hands-on activities and group story time.

  • Books and Blocks (Ages 2-5 years and a caregiver)

    Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 AM – Ms. Neena, Library Annex

    Program cycle runs 9 weeks.

    Join us for stories, songs, and block play with the library's varied collection of blocks and other engineering materials, like vehicles and signs. This program begins with stories and songs and ends with 30-45 minutes of shared building play time.

    Interactive story time featuring puppets, instruments, and elements of music & movement. Program ends with play. This program will be indoors for the winter season.

  • Twoodalo Twos! (2.5-3.5 years and a caregiver)

    Thursdays, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM – Library Annex, Miss Neena

    This nine week program includes songs, stories, and games plus a play-based learning stations, like art, blocks, or fine motor play. While activities vary week to week, messy materials are occasionally used and smocks will be available.

    Young scientists will be given a chance to try fun and wacky experiments each week—and learn scientific
    procedure in the process. Weekly themes include Sink or Float; Rainbow Magic; Snow Day; For the Birds;
    and more.

    Program cycle runs 9 weeks.

    On Friday mornings, toddlers rule the library! This eight week program includes songs, stories, and games plus a play-based learning stations, like art or parachute play. The program or portions thereof may be held outside in our courtyard to utilize our outdoor play equipment as weather allows but fully move indoors if conditions are poor. Please dress for the weather.
