Roblox is a super popular online game that allows kids to make and share games they have created. Under the supervision of our programming staff, kids will interact virtually in a world of their creation! Educationally, both coding skills and computer science skills are developed. Both Zoom and Roblox must be downloaded to participate.

Each week’s story and songs will connect to the learning activity in Twodaloo Activities. Kids are given opportunities to participate in each class.

    These at-home activity kits (and instructions) are designed to build early skills and promote continued literacy learning. We’ll give you everything you need for an easy to do weekly activity, pre-prepped and ready to use, just like those we include in our in person programs.

    The activity will line up with the week's Twodaloo Toddlers program's books and songs.

     LIVE ON ZOOM, 1:00-2:00 pm – Ms. Neena

    This program welcomes homeschoolers grades K-4. This program promotes collaboration through virtual activities. Topics rotate; upcoming topics include leadership and elections, pirate codes, and more.

    At this time, we can ONLY accommodate home schooling children—this does not include children enrolled in remote learning through a school district. Remote learners are instead welcome in all our other virtual and kit programming for school age children.

    Live on Zoom ; Alternating Tuesdays (9/29, 10/13, 10/27, & 11/10)  4:00-5:00 pm – Phil

    Scratch JR is an easy coding program designed specifically for children ages 5-7 to create interactive art and games, all while learning to code. Phil will teach introductory skills. A computer or tablet with internet access is needed to access Scratch.

    This program alternates with Scratch coding for grades 2-4.

    Our activity kits guarantee at home learning experiences that focus on Kindergarten Readiness. We’ll include everything you’ll need for a weekly pre-prepped art project, game, or experiment.

    This program is open to children in grades K-5 and their families; The content is designed for ages 7-11.

    Saturday, 10/03, 2:00 – 2:45 pm – Live on Zoom

    Local author and leader in education, Obed Figueroa, recently released the book Marcus Learns About the Different Types of Doctors. The story takes the title character (and readers!)  through a community health center, where Marcus meets many different healthcare professionals, and learns about how they help his community. Join us for a Live Zoom with the author, who will read from the book, show off some real tools doctors use every day, and answer questions about doctors’ lives.
