Rebuilding Together Dutchess County (RTDC) announces an extended application deadline for their Rebuilding Day home repair and accessibility modification program for 2024.
The new application deadline is now September 30, 2023. This program provides no-cost services to eligible homeowners, ensuring safe, healthy, and independent living conditions for our neighbors in need.
RTDC’s Rebuilding Day program addresses critical repairs for income-qualified Dutchess County homeowners.
They are also accepting Ulster County applicants for review from seniors, persons with disabilities, veterans, and eligible families in need.
RTDC continues to accept applications for handyman services, catering to smaller maintenance projects for those who qualify.
The comprehensive Rebuilding Day program covers repairs such as roofing, windows, electrical and plumbing fixes, porch restoration, ramp installation, bathroom modifications, and more. By facilitating these improvements, RTDC empowers homeowners to remain in their residences comfortably.
A senior homeowner, Anne of Wappingers Falls, commended on the program, emphasizing its unexpected thoroughness and the sense of safety it brought her, “It’s nice to know this program exists for people on their own – it really makes a difference, it really does.”
Please join us and discover if you are eligible for free home repairs.
