Most people usually think of the arctic as a vast barren white landscape of subzero temperatures. True, the winters are very cold and dark, and summer is cool and relatively short. But life over the course of thousands of years has adapted perfectly to this environment of extremes. At this workshop we’ll be sculpting some of the amazing forms of wildlife of the polar region. Please join us!
Animals of the arctic: Puffin, Harp Seal, Snow Goose, Arctic Wolf, Arctic Tern, Snowy Owl, Arctic Fox, Arctic Hare, Beluga Whale, Lemming, Polar Bear, Narwhal & Walrus….and there are more!
Registration & parental supervision is required. To register please call the Pawling Library at 845-855-3444.
