Two Sessions…

Time: 6:30-8:30 pm

They blend in with nature like a cricket in a field and are rarely detected by humankind. Wide eyes fill a large head, about the size of a thimble (well, large compared to their body), and that head can swivel completely around an unlimited amount of times. This remarkable ability has been known to make many an owl flush with envy. The elusive sprite lives in harmony with the trees and wildflowers. They do upon occasion wander into flower beds and vegetable gardens. A few sightings have been well documented. On one morning in late May of 1923, Thelma Oddle of Denly Rd, photographed three sprites she insisted were impersonating chickadees in her bird bath!

At this two-part workshop, we’ll be sculpting and painting an over-sized bobblehead version of these diminutive creatures that are a mystery for most and will forever likely remain so.
