Featuring favorite characters like Elsa, Wonder Woman, and Princess Leia, join us live or request a recording of storytimes to watch anytime. This month, our special guest is Belle from Beauty and the Beast!

Want to give your child an experience they'll never forget? Become friends with a real princess or hero as they read, sing, tell engaging stories, and play games together -- Plus, she will respond to your child's live comments by name! This is the last in a series of eight programs. Watch live on Thursday, October 14th, at 4:30pm to participate in the interactive experience and be automatically entered to win a video call from Belle!

Program is designed for ages 3-8, but families with youth of any age are welcome to join and participate! This is a partnership between Parties with Character and the following libraries:

    Our Kindergarten readiness class uses a play-based curriculum to encourage learning connections. Our small group will focus on early literacy and math skills through a combination of hands-on activities and group story time. This program will be held in the library courtyard when weather allows, but move indoors as needed. Caregivers required to remain on site for the program.

    Registration required. Join us for the series or just the dates you are comfortable and able, but please ONLY register for dates you plan to attend, as spaces are limited.     Interactive storytime featuring puppets, instruments, and elements of music & movement. Program ends with playtime. This program will be held outside in our courtyard as weather allows but move indoors if conditions are poor. Registration required.

    Join us when you are able and comfortable, whether that's for one week or all the classes. But please ONLY register for dates you plan to attend, as spaces are limited.     Digital event for ages 6-10, Make gels with science

    Thursday, 10/28, 4:00-5:00 PM – Live on Zoom

    Learn about gels & how they are made as we do science together over Zoom. Harden liquids like magic and show off your creations to other kids. Supplies and instructions will be provided, though caregiver supervision is recommended, especially for developing readers.

    You will need to pick up the supply kit for this program in advance.

    On Friday mornings, toddlers rule the library! This program includes songs, stories, and games plus a play-based learning activity, like art or parachute play. This program will be held outside in our courtyard as weather allows but move indoors if needed due to weather or other concerns. Registration required.

    3 Take home activity kit series for Grades K-5

    Available the weeks of 10/1, 10/15, & 10/29

    Join us for this series of three take home kits. Receive a mystery bag of clues and use your thinking caps to figure out whodunit! Differentiated by grade level grouping.

    Registration required. Register here. When you sign up, you register for all three kits. Missed the first few release dates? No worries! Kits will be available retroactively. Our staff will email you when each kit is ready for pickup. Then you can pick up anytime we are open on your schedule.
