    Early literacy is an important part of a baby’s healthy development. We read, sing, babble, and bounce together. Learn resources to use at home and meet other caregivers. Ends with social play. This program will be held outside in our courtyard as weather permits.

    This is a six week program series. Attend as many or as few as you are able.

    In this entertaining virtual multimedia presentation, our host, actor/director Stephen Nachamie will explore how the styles and sounds of Broadway have changed in the last century, from Oklahoma to Moulin Rouge.

     

    About our presenter: Stephen Nachamie is an award-winning director whose work has been seen on and Off-Broadway, regionally and internationally. He develops and writes new work for stage and film. He made his Broadway debut as the associate director to Scott Ellis on the 2016 Tony Award winning revival of She Loves Me, which can be seen on PBS’ Great Performances and Broadway HD. New York credits include, the reunion concert of Little Shop of Horrors (w/Alan Menken), The Witness Project (First Person Holocaust Survivor Stories- UJA), Carrie (NYFA), Small Town Confessions (w/Alice Ripley and Daisy Eagan), Torch Song Trilogy starring Seth Rudetsky. Regional credits include Becoming Dr. Ruth (Cincinnati Playhouse) Fiddler on the Roof (with Tony Winner Debbie Gravitte and Loni Ackerman), tick, tick… BOOM!, Gutenberg! (New Rep), Cal in Camo (Denizen Theatre), Sex with Strangers, 4,000 Miles (Capital Rep), A Chorus Line (Olney Theatre – Helen Hayes Award- Best Musical), The Whipping Man (Omaha Playhouse), Lady Day … (WHAT, Capital City Theatre), Camelot, 1776 (Olney Theatre), West Side Story (North Carolina Theatre/Italian Tour), Dreamgirls (West Virginia Public), Film and television credits include Macy’s Singing Christmas Tree at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC, “Stand Still” (Telly Award Winner – Direction / Non-Broadcast), Winning New York (New Filmmakers NY Award), “Bang! Boom! Pow!,” and the award winning internet hit “Jersey Christmas” Symphony & Opera credits include Kellie Pickler in Music City Christmas (Nashville Symphony), The Judy Garland Songbook and Bernstein’s Broadway (Omaha Symphony), and Amahl and the Night Visitors (Steamboat Springs Symphony).
