Saturday, January 27th 4:30-5:30 pm, Main Library

Local author and teacher Jennifer Lohrfink Morfea will be stopping by the library to read her book, The Little Hyena and answer questions about writing and publishing her own book! The program will include a fun animal art project, led by the author. Stop by and transform a golf ball into a creature with us!

Caregivers invited but not required. Want to attend but unable to find care for the younger members of your family? Contact Ms. Neena for special arrangements.

This supervised hour of fun provides a large space for children to meet and play, either inside or out, depending on the weather. Bring a favorite toy or game and invite a friend!

    Inspired by the global phenomenon of toy squishies, participants will create something 3D and fun each week, including Frisbees, slow-rising squishies, and more. Each week will also incorporate a story or literacy activity as a warm up.

    Create a cool character and come along an adventure where you control where the story goes. This is a kid friendly, simplified RPG (Role Playing Game), great for learning elements of story-telling and collaborating.

    Registered therapy dogs Marcie and Alexander love stories, cuddles, and making new friends! Children can sign up for a 15 minute session with these pups, and read to them in a low-stress environment.
    Perfect for emerging and struggling readers!
