Tuesdays, 1:00-2:00 pm– Ms. Carla

Create a cool character and come along on this story based adventure where you control where the story goes. This is a simplified version of the game ever popular Dungeons and Dragons, designed for kids. No experience necessary--this program is ideal for anyone who loves mysteries, adventure, and fun, regardless of if they enjoy fantasy.

    Does your baby love to bounce and play? Join Ms. Neena for a story, singing, and rhyming sure to get baby giggling. All activities are designed to enhance attention and focus, familiarize children with the fundamentals of reading and talking, and instill a love of reading. The program ends with a 10-15 minute social play session or baby-safe art activity.

    THERE WILL BE NO PROGRAM ON 11/15.

    On Friday mornings, kids rule the library! Join Ms. Neena, while the library is still closed, for an uninhibited, fun and loud story time. This program incorporates sensory, art, storytelling, music, and movement all in one to prepare children to read, write, and think critically. Topics vary by week, and the program ends with activity stations. Parents and caregivers required to remain in the library for the duration of the program.

    Alternating Fridays (9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, 11/22) 1:00-2:00 pm – Ms. Neena

    This program welcomes homeschoolers of all ages to create an inclusive space for discussion and social learning.
    Activities based around family’s needs are implemented, freeing caregivers up to come together and talk.

    This season, the focus will be a "book club" where the kids share their favorite books, review new
    books, and help the library decide what to purchase.

    One of the most important parts of a good story are the illustrations. Learn to create scenes that tell a story and portray characters with different attitudes and emotions using examples from our favorite books. Children will share their creations with their friends and work together to create silly stories. Developing readers and writers welcome.

    12/7, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm -- Main Library

    Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be making their annual visit to our library in the month of December. Families with children of all ages are invited to meet with the couple, have a photo taken, and receive a small toy or book to take home.  Register now so we can reserve time for your family, as there will be many families at this event.
