A special event for members of the Great Stories Book Club, a virtual meeting with Luis J. Rodriguez, author of Always Running: La Vida Loca: Gang Days in L.A. Participants in the Club are invited to join us at the Library for this special opportunity provided by The American Library Association. The Pawling Library’s Great Stories Club will be reading Always Running as part of the series Deeper Than Skins series which will be held beginning in January 2024. This program is for age 13 & up. Participants should come with questions for the author.

The Pawling Library is honored to have been selected as one of 58 libraries nationwide to take part in the Great Stories Club, a reading and discussion program for underserved teens. These competitive grants are offered by the American Library Association (ALA) with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
