Qigong (pronounced chee-gung) is a Taoist system of physical movement that is both ritual and exercises, breathing techniques and focused intention. It is an ancient form of energy enhancement and is the basis of Tai Chi. It is perhaps the most under-estimated form of self-development and yet one of the most profound and deeply healing on all levels.  It is understood in Traditional Chinese Medicine to boost the immune system and help release blocked energy in the meridians, the organ branches within the body.

Please join us for this gentle, life enhancing practice.

    Enhance your life.

About our presenter: Nadiya Nottingham is a certified Medical Qigong Practitioner by Robert Peng and a Qigong teacher by Masters Liu Dong and Liu He of the Linggui School in Portland, OR. Nadiya’s deep heart teachings spring from her own struggles as a young woman. She has overcome addiction, survived an attempt on her own life at age 15, and at age 62 she has many authentic, tried and true life teachings to share with deep love.

This program will help explain the communication changes that take place in a person with dementia and identify strategies to connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.
