Saturday, 3/10 5:30-6:30 pm – Ms. Neena, Main Library

We’re challenging dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other male caregivers to compete with the children in their lives at our Dudes and Kids Day! Participate in a variety of hilarious and fun ‘minute-to-win-it’ style challenges that aim to get men more involved in helping their children learn to read. Research shows that children learn to read more quickly and with greater skill when they have a male “father-figure” involved in the process. Even the most hesitant dads will enjoy spending some quality “”dude time” with the children they love. Of course, mothers, grandmothers, and other non-male caregivers are welcome to attend.
