Back by popular demand, it’s the most fun you can ever have in the library! Join Bedtime Math's Crazy 8s Club, where you'll build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess...it's a whole new kind of math club! All activities are designed by the experts at Bedtime Math to boost and support developing math skills. This program runs eight weeks, starting April 20th.

Don't think your child would enjoy a math club, but want them to boost their skills? Can't get your child interested, though you think it would be helpful for them to participate? Show them this--they might change their mind.

    Scratch JR is an easy coding program designed specifically for children ages 5-7 to create interactive art and games, all while learning to code. Phil will teach introductory skills. A computer or tablet with internet access is needed to access Scratch.

    This program alternates with Scratch coding for grades 2-4.

    Local author and leader in education, Obed Figueroa, recently released the book Marcus Learns About the Different Types of Doctors. The story takes the title character (and readers!)  through a community health center, where Marcus meets many different healthcare professionals, and learns about how they help his community. Join us for a Live Zoom with the author, who will read from the book, show off some real tools doctors use every day, and answer questions about doctors’ lives.
