Join Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s Club, where you’ll build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess—It’s a totally new kind of math club designed to make math concepts fun! Make mischief and memories with activities like Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry, Bouncy Dice Explosion and Pirate Treasure Hunt.

Participants are encouraged to attend all eight weeks. Registration is required.

    Our Kindergarten readiness class uses a play-based curriculum to encourage learning connections. Our small group will focus on early literacy and math skills through a combination of hands-on activities and group story time. This is an eight week series. The program or portions thereof may be held outside in our courtyard to utilize our outdoor play equipment as weather allows but fully move indoors if conditions are poor. Please dress for the weather.

    Registration is preferred for our group programs. Drop-ins will only be accommodated as space is available.

    Teachers say that the skills that lead to the most student success in school are their social and emotional skills. Join us to help develop these skills, as well as STEM, art, and literacy practice, all while children play! This supervised hour of fun provides a large space for children to meet and play with our outdoor play equipment, weather permitting. Please dress children for the weather.  This program is designed to ease the transition to daycare, preschool, and especially kindergarten.

    Registration is preferred for our group programs. Drop-ins will only be accommodated as space is available.

  • LEGO Club: Books and Blocks Edition (Grades K-4)

  • Bubble Bus Party! (All ages and a Caregiver)

    This one-of-a kind bus sprays hundreds of thousands of bubbles and is like no other bubble experience. A huge hit for all ages, the bubble bus is a fun time for kids to dance, run, and pop their way through a field of bubbles. From toddlers to grandparents, bubbles bring joy and smiles!

    In addition, the Pawling Library team will be on hand connecting our bubble play back to learning, getting kids to think about mindfulness and stress relief through bubbles and books!

    This outdoor event will take place outdoors at Lakeside Park, weather permitting. All ages welcome to drop in for part of all of the two hour event. Sending your child to Pawling Recreations' Amped for Camp day on 10/11? They'll get to join in for bubbles, plus lots of other great activities with the Amped for Camp team.

    Register in advance for weather updates or drop-in and register at the door.
