Scratch JR is an easy coding program designed specifically for children ages 5-7 to create interactive art and games, all while learning to code. Phil will teach introductory skills. A computer or tablet with internet access is needed to access Scratch.

This program alternates with Scratch coding for grades 2-4.

This program focuses on the five keys to early literacy—singing, reading, playing, talking, and writing. Each week’s story and songs will connect to the learning activity in Read and Play at Home.

Our activity kits guarantee at home learning experiences that focus on Kindergarten Readiness. We’ll include everything you’ll need for a weekly pre-prepped art project, game, or experiment.

It’s time to experiment! This program pairs tutorials you can watch anytime with kits that contain all the materials your child will need for a weekly at-home science experiment they can do on their own.

Program runs nine weeks, September 21- November 21. Register for as many or as few as you are able to attend.

This program is held live over Zoom. Join us as we sing, read, and play together. Kids love socializing with friends and singing along to favorites from the library. Each week’s story and songs will connect to the learning activity in Twodaloo Activities. Kids are given opportunities to participate in each class.

These at-home activity kits (and instructions) are designed to build early skills and promote continued literacy learning. We’ll give you everything you need for an easy to do weekly activity, pre-prepped and ready to use, just like those we include in our in person programs.

The activity will line up with the week's Twodaloo Toddlers program's books and songs.

Saturday, 10/03, 2:00 – 2:45 pm – Live on Zoom

Local author and leader in education, Obed Figueroa, recently released the book Marcus Learns About the Different Types of Doctors. The story takes the title character (and readers!)  through a community health center, where Marcus meets many different healthcare professionals, and learns about how they help his community. Join us for a Live Zoom with the author, who will read from the book, show off some real tools doctors use every day, and answer questions about doctors’ lives.

Calling all unicorn lovers! During this special two-in-one event, Ms. Neena will read a unicorn book, teach unicorn songs, and show preschoolers and caregivers how to put together their own unicorn lacing kit, which is also provided. Can’t make the class? Sign up for the kit and do the project offline with your preschooler!
