    Stop the Bleed

    Stop the Bleed is intended to encourage bystanders to become empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, therefore it is important to quickly stop the blood loss by any means necessary. Participants will receive “hands on” training in the proper use of direct pressure, wound packing and tourniquets.

    Registration for teen programs for the fall will begin on September 10 and end on September 19. You will be informed of which programs you are enrolled in by phone or email (depending on your preference) on September 21. Teen programs will begin on September 24. If you do not register before September 19, you may still be enrolled in programs as space is available. Teens ages 10-18 may enroll in teen programs, unless otherwise specified.
