Third Annual Human Library
-Pawling Middle School-https://www.pawlingfreelibrary.org/event/15864/80 Wagner Dr, Pawling, NY 12564Tuesday, February 19th, 12:00 -3:00 pm at the Pawling Middle School, 80 Wagner Road Pawling, NY 12564
Back by popular demand, the Pawling Human Library Project, a joint venture between the Pawling School District and the Pawling Library, connects people together to share their experiences, hobbies, skills, and more. Access never before heard stories during small group discussions on a wide range of topics when you “check out a book” (surprise! the book is a human sharing what they know/experienced). Both readers (who listen) and books (who share and teach) welcome!
Become a book: you choose your topic and share your story with a small group (1-4 people) in a 20-minute conversation. Readers will have chosen your book. They want to hear your story based on the blurb you provide. Visit https://goo.gl/forms/7PrmZvUTMo1Rbtx33 to sign up! (book sign ups due by February 2).
Become a reader: Stop in for half an hour or the whole afternoon and listen to what interests you. Starting February 2, you can sign up to listen to the books that interest you on our website.
Or do both! Books are always welcome to attend other books sessions.
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more or in volunteering to be a book, please go to https://pcsdhumanlibrary.wordpress.com/
Last year was a great success, and we are looking forward to having even more people participate this year. Book registration ends February 2nd, so please mark your calendars and join us!
