Toddlers in Training Thursdays, 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM Nine week event series, 09/18 - 11/18 NO CLASS 10/05 Age range: 18-30 months & a caregiver Library Annex, with Neena Interactive story time featuring puppets, instruments, and elements of music & movement. Program ends with play. This program series may include outdoor playtime if weather allows. Registration is highly suggested. Join us for as many or as few classes as you are able, but please ONLY register for the dates you will attend. Due to the number of no-shows we have had at recent events, registration is now week by week. Drop ins will be accommodated whenever space is available, but advanced registration is preferred.

Twoodalo Twos Thursdays Thursdays, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Nine week event series, 09/18 - 11/18 NO CLASS 10/05 Age Range: 2.5 – 3.5 years & a caregiver This program includes songs, stories, and games plus 20 minutes of play-based learning stations, like art, blocks, or fine motor play. While activities vary week to week, messy materials and smocks are occasionally used. We may play outdoors if weather allows. Registration is highly suggested. Join us for as many or as few classes as you are able, but please ONLY register for the dates you will attend. Note: This program is repeated twice weekly, once on Thursdays and once on Fridays.

This event will include a 10-15 minute presentation, including video of Nicole on a spacewalk, an opportunity for youth questions, and the presentation of all local homeschoolers' Postcards to Space, pre-created postcards students have drawn and written that will be sent to space and returned to the homeschoolers after their journey. This program is paid for in part by Dutchess County. Registration is required for both the meeting and participating in the postcards to space project. Thank you. Coloring is more than being creative, it’s a very relaxing activity that has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety. Each week we’ll be coloring a new mandala design, while also enjoying a good round of conversation. You don’t have to have a degree in art to participate…just some paper and color pencils. Please join us. Relax and connect with like-minded people, and add a burst of color to your day! All supplies will be provided.

Homeschool Space: Elementary Third Thursday of the Month (09/21, 10/19, 11/16, & 12/14), 1:00-2:00 PM – Neena, Library Annex Age range: Homeschoolers ages 5-10, or those homeschooling in Kindergarten - 4th grade. Each month, homeschoolers come together to work on a fun, engaging project with friends and other homeschoolers in our region. The theme for November's meeting is Emergency Preparedness for kids and gratitude cards, featuring the American Red Cross curriculum. Registration is required. Please register for each month you wish to attend independently.

Each month, at these supportive meetings, we’ll be encouraging one another to maintain a nutritious, balanced diet, get plenty of exercise, and keep a positive attitude…especially when we stray from our intended goals. Some of the members of this group have completed a year-long National Diabetes Prevention Program through a partnership with Putnam Independent Living Services and the Pawling Library.
